In book four of the Drekinn: Kiki is fun loving and well-liked by his friends. What he most wanted was to find his mates and have them accept him for who he is. Kiki didn't think that was too much to ask for, but evidently he was wrong.

Thomas steps forward to finally acknowledge his feelings, but finds himself in the same situation as Kiki. They are lied to and pushed away, literally. When the tension becomes too much, they feel they have no alternative but to leave the Drekinn.

Calli and the rest of the Drekinn are upset they have lost two of their family. So when they face the sprite of a woman who is responsible for their loss, the fun begins.
